East Coast Puppy Love evolved from two best friends who both raise dogs and share an unconditional love for puppies. Debbie breeds Shih Tzu and Jeri Cane Corso puppies. Together they live in the country not far from one another where they have both delivered puppies in their homes. This experience provided them with a great understanding of the challenges breeders face attempting to find safe and loving homes for each puppy. This web site was created to allow responsible breeders to advertise their puppies and to help individuals find the perfect puppy for their home. We want to also make the search for the right puppy fun, fulfilling, and trustworthy.

Debbie’s Puppy Story

My husband loved cats. He was never a dog man. One day, while shopping, he found a stuffed dog laying on a pillow. He said if he ever had a dog, it would be one like that. I quickly researched the dog. I learned that the dog on the pillow was a shih tzu. There happened to be one for sale a state away from us. We acquired our first shih tzu, a male, in October, 2018. He was delightful and so affectionate. We both fell in love with him easily. My husband did not want him to be alone. For that reason, we acquired our second shih tzu puppy, a female the next month.
We occasionally have puppies that we advertise for sale. We found a lack of family friendly sites where we could advertise home-grown puppies. The idea for East Coast Puppy Love came as a way to fill this void.

Jeri’s Puppy Story

From childhood to adulthood, I have had puppy love for one or more dogs at a time. My first dog was a German Shepherd named Thor. My goal here at East Coast Puppy Love is to offer a simple safe way to find a puppy and to get buyers and sellers together efficiently.

I take pride in providing you with a healthy happy pet which is why we aim to make our website a safe, friendly place where we can match breeders and families. You have my word that I will continuously scan the listings on our site for fraudulent content and scams. If at any time I identify a dishonest seller, I conduct a full investigation, delete their ads, and ban the advertisers. I expect advertisers to have integrity, adhere to the law and provide true, correct descriptions of the puppies they raise and sell.

Again, my goal is to connect you with honest breeders who will in turn provide you with the best Puppy Love for you and/or your family. That’s my promise!
